This course is designed for healthcare professionals with a duty to respond to perform high-quality CPR in a team environment. The course teaches pre-hospital or in-facility responders to recognize and intervene where patiens are suffering from cardiac or respiratory arrest.
This program does not cover basic layperson CPR training - it is specificlaly for professionals to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, children, infants and neonates.

- personal safety
- positioning patients including spinal injuries
- patient assessments including pulse checks
- artificial respiration,
- 1 & 2 rescuer CPR (Adults, Children & Infants)
- choking interventions (Adults, Children & Infants)
- use an AED (Automated External Defibrillators)
- use a Bag Valve Mask (BVM)
- shock management
